ARTIST BIO
“Don’t you just hate writing these things?”
WHO?
My name is Talon Klipp, and I have been around for a bit.
Originally from the East Coast, I moved to California in 1988.
I currently reside in Ventura.

I am a drummer, a painter, a husband, a father and a retired swordsman.
WHAT?
I paint. I have always painted in one form or another from as early as I can remember, regardless of what else was going on in My life, painting has always been there. I have a body of personal work in acrylics and in 2017 I began working in oils and now have more ideas and plans for what to paint next than I will ever likely get to.
I love it. I love to create new things. I love to learn how to create new things, the worse day in the studio is and always has been worth it. I feel better when I paint. I feel relaxed when I paint and it gives some sense of accomplishment to see a new thing enter the world by My hand.

WHY?
Three simple reasons why I want to, -need- to sell My paintings. First, to share, I really enjoy when someone else takes a liking to a piece and wants to own it. It’s a warm fuzzy feeling that is simply worth experiencing. Second, to make enough to support continuing to produce art, we all know, anything where you create something is expensive to do. And Third, lastly, I need the space to make new paintings. As much as I love to put every new painting on My own walls, there are not enough walls to support My painting habits!
